Spent Christmas in a budget hotel in Yangon and it was amazing! the location was unbeatable , right in the heart of the city, surrounded by shops and restaurants. the room was clean and well, maintained, with air conditioning and a comfortable bed. the breakfast was also included and had a good variety of options , perfect for starting the day!
The lack of Wi, Fi in the rooms , it was only available in the lobby area. the hotel was a bit noisy at times due to its central location and bustling neighborhood.

I loved how convenient this hotel was - right in the city centre and close to many sites, including Sule Pagoda and the stores. The staff were fantastic, always eager to help and they spoke English fluently. The hotel facilities were great, and the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was nice and they even packed it for me since I had to check out early.
Nothing, all great!

We recently stayed in a hotel in the heart of Myanmar, close to the exciting Bogyoke market and Sein Gay Har supermarket, where we could experience the local culture. the hotel was in an ideal location right in the center of the city, providing easy access to all the sights. the rooms were spacious, clean and the bathrooms were well-maintained. We enjoyed our delicious breakfast every morning before starting our day exploring the city.
The hotel could have better noise insulation to keep out the busy traffic sounds in the early morning hours.

The May Shan Hotel is excellent value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. Its central location in the heart of downtown Yangon means that you're right in the middle of all the action. The staff are incredibly attentive and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. The rooms, though small, are clean and well-equipped with basic amenities like air conditioning and comfortable beds. And let's not forget the included breakfast, which provides a satisfying start to the day.
Everything was spot on, no complaints at all.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in downtown Yangon. The location was absolutely perfect – right in the heart of the city, close to major attractions like the Sule Pagoda and Maha Bandoola Gardens. It was so convenient to be able to explore the city on foot and not have to worry about transportation.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was great – nothing to complain about.
